My Journey With Ibizan Hounds
I have loved AND been involved with animals for as long as I can remember. My childhood dream was to become a farmer, and our family rescued and offered a temporary home for some stray dogs with my mother and soon enough she cracked (thank god!) and got our own dog! It was the sweetest standard dachshund who had no pedigree - Donna. But, she opened the door to dog sports for me. My world changed completely when I got my very first purebred dog, a miniature smooth-haired dachshund, Athena. She was elegant, full of character, and she opened the door for me to the world of other pedigree dogs. We trained together, went to dog shows, and I even competed as a junior handler. From that moment, I knew that this pedigree dog world would always have a special place in my life. Since then, I have been a kennel girl, a handler and always a curious learner about dogs in general. Like many young dog lovers, my journey was not without heartache. One of my dachshunds became paralyzed, and I promised myself that health and careful breeding would always come first. That promise led me to Ibizans. They are not just beautiful dogs, but are relatively healthy, intelligent, super fun and what's most important - very active. Why Ibizan Hounds? People often ask me: Why Ibizan Hounds? For me, it is simple: they are graceful, sensitive, athletic, and full of joy. Ibizans are not just show dogs — they are loyal family companions, wonderful with children, and they thrive when given love and activity. I am dedicated to raising healthy, well-socialized Ibizan Hound puppies that carry the best of the breed standard. My goal is to give families the same gift my own first dogs gave me: a lifelong bond with a truly special dog. My Breeding Philosophy

I usually have a small number of litters, carefully planned, with the goal of preserving the breed. My puppies are reserved in advance, and I am always happy to speak with families who are considering welcoming an Ibizan into their lives. You do not need to be interested on competing in dog shows to get a puppy from me. But, you must be able to provide a full and a happy life to my puppy.
